Well if you think about it. It's all unpractable. What's the point of a car having over 180hp?
Well, it is useful to have some ZING to your car, lol. Merging into traffic, expressways, passing someone, etc. The higher the power, the better you can do it. There is a degree of having decent power, and overkill.
Radar absorbent and laser deflective paint, a cloaking device, and radio frequency jamming devices for those pesky police officers help a bit too!
Used to have an Evo VIII 260bhp (the starter car in the Uk). Fuel consumption is horrendous (18mpg), servicing is every 4500 miles and insurance is ridiculous. Either way it's a fantastic car with active rear differential, a spray for the intercooler (gimmick). I find the superABS to be too intrusive though, firing too quickly. You can't really get the best braking from it (They should allow you too switch it off!!!). It goes like stink and looks aggressive!
It's a great safe performance car, but at the limit watch out for the understeer followed by snap over steer if you lift off once understeering (push in the us!) If it starts understeering you need to gently come out of the throttle to until the skid stops and you regain control..... easy once your used to it......

Yea, thats why I'm not too sure about what to go for. The insurance is going to be high on any sports car at my age. Regardless, the insurance will be a whole hell of a lot less then the Z06. The Evo's are decent cars, but if you buy them new, the dealer likes to claim that every warranty issue on the car is "abuse" and they try to not cover it. I've heard issues about the braking in those cars. We'll see though like I said. Still consdering, lol

I do have a 360 Laser Radar scanner which is current and up to date which can pick up on all radar equipment, and I have a radar jammer, LOL. I've had the detector itself read radar traps up to about 7/8 blocks and its higher then that on expressways. The Jammer I don't use so often cause it is illegal, but it is effective in screwing with the systems. Problem is, if you are speeding and they shoot the radar at you and it comes back erroring or with something it obviously isn't, they'll pull you over anyways for "suspicious activity".

The newer Mustang style isn't bad at all. They have decent power, and even if you bought the GT (V, its still priced about $27/$28, and for that kind of power, isn't bad at all.
The V6 is nice though. I like the Saleen Mustang. Kickass looking.

Exodus, now all they have to do is check to see if you are wearing your seatbelt! Did you see the news on the national numbers from Memorial Day weekend on seat belt violations? Then the supplemental infractions they write after that. It's ridiculous. I wear my seat belt, but having task forces out nationwide to write tickets for it? That's stupid.

Well being here in the US in Illinois of all places (you'd think this was Austchwitz, I swear). They SPECIFICALLY have random checkpoints that the state police set up to check for seatbelt violations. They refer to them as "safety checkpoints", and if they do stop you, you get pulled off into a parking lot and they check your backround, insurance info (if current), warrants, brake lights, turn signals, etc. The whole process lasts 20-minutes, and is F*CKIN RIDICULOUS. If your lights are out and what not, you recieve tickets for all what is wrong, if you don't have insurance or current insurance, you get arrested and your car gets impounded.
On Memorial Day they specifically have twice as many cops out and check points for these kinds of things. They do it mainly cause Illinois tends to have stricter laws regarding seatbelts and car violations, and they know many tourists or passer-throughs are going through on the expressways during the holidays, so they increase their force.
What happend to cops being there to help?? Rather, during holidays and random times, they are just there to find reasons for revenue and arrests.
Black honda civic crx del sol, love ot drive with open top but dont like softtop, they leak, noisy and they are frequently cut open so this car for me is just pefect. Small, fast, open top and low on petrol if I drive normal, perfect for where I live

It's super ecconomic very fast and easy to handle ( I have personally tested it on a bit of track and I chickened out at 124mph which is going some for a 1.4 diesel whihc does over 60 mpg!
Hi everyone my present car, I which I have only had for three weeks, is a Renault Scenic in metal grey. From the early days of cars with no syncromesh on first gear I am now in danger of having a car that that has lights and wipers that manage themselves automatically, they come on and off at their own. I feel slightly redundant after forty years of managing all the controls my self. Having said that it is the first Renault I have owned and I am really pleased with "Megan".
