I'm taking lessons at the moment - took my test yesterday and failed Sad but I had an inkling I wasnt ready but thats another story...

Anyway, I have a really nice female instructor. You need to look for someone patient, when looking for one phone round and ask each their price, average number of lessons before passing and how many people out of 10 on average pass first time when learning with that instructor.

I started with BSM cos I got some lessons for my birthday for them but the guy was obnoxious, didnt teach me, had me sat at the side of the road going over diagrams and told me the average number of lessons to pass is 44 in the UK. Needless to say I dumped him lol

Na, not giving up, not after spending all that money! Plus I've just bought a wee car, a Peugeot 106, and its lovely, despite being old and tiny lol

hi Good for you

Had my 1st lesson instructor seems nice. He was patient with me. Understand a few things better. Of course so much info to take in which i'm sure will all sink in at one point

Have my next lesson tomorrow. Going to try twice a week.

Kl, I have one a week, it was all I could afford really. I might switch that to once a fortnight now that Im going to be driving my own car quite a bit. Not too sure yet.

There is a lot to learn but it all clicks into place all of a sudden - or thats what I found lol

Juliet, everyday you drive is a lesson. You will be faced with challenges all the time, so approach it that way, and do your best.
