I had a relationship that ended on mutual terms a few years ago. After a couple of months, I realised I wanted him back. He, on the otherhand, was enjoying being single.

Whenever we saw each other in a club, or whatever, he would tell me that he still loved me and wanted me back again and we would both end up in bed afterwards, he would be go and I would know it was all talk about us getting back together. This went on for about months, even though I knew I was being used.

I am now over him and in a great relationship, but I just wondered if this had happened to anyone else I knew I was being used but I did not care I enjoyed the sex and the freindship without the ties and I knew what I was getting, in the bargain.

Tinker-Bell. I think I must have been your ex. Only my experience was a lot of years ago but almost identical to what you describe. We both enjoyed the sex and in a funny way, even though we both knew it was going nowhere, the comfort of each other's company. Both of us ended up with someone else after a few months.
