Nicom,
I had my left ear done only. My parents said both looked too effeminate.
I guess I'm ok with that. Maybe once I move out of the house I can get both.
Thanks for your post.

If you are going to pierce your ears, get both of them done. Just doing one looks rather wierd.

Oh no, this forum is really going to hell now

There seems to be so many people agreeing with the colonel's deranged idea that there is one wierdo posting freaky stuff just to upset him.

Honestly, think about it. There are a lot of weird people about. They are posting these stories for their own personal kicks, not for someone who has posted nearly 7000 messages in less than a year.

The colonel wants you to tho think they are all the same person...

look at the numbers. who is the true wierdo.....

Hello McMum. Rolling Eyes You are off topic.

Running my business involves being at computers a lot of the day, almost every day - so in my breaks between work - I post here and at a few other military sites. Not weird at all.

Now go away McMum, let people here have some troll-free peace.

Good to hear it.

What exactly did you get, and are you happy with it?

If I remember correctly, you were worried about your mum and dad's reactions/opinions etc, did it turn out not to be as big a deal as you expected?

Dear The_Colonel,
I had my left ear done only. My parents were very resistant but let me get it done anyway. I might get the right once I move out of the house and go to college. Thanks for your question

Is 14 a bit young for a boy to get an earring?

I'm asking because my third son's birthday is coming up soon.

Does it exist temporary piercing ?

I want to pierce my lobe but do not want any mark when removing the earring. Is it possible? and how long can I keep the earring?

I have noticed quite a few younger boys, aged around 8-10 that have. I'm not sure I'm keen on that.

I am curious what the more acceptable age seems to be, so far my two eldest have had theirs done at age 16.

Well of course it is your call, but you are seeing it is popular with younger boys -
and you could consider that if it is something you son really wants then the younger
he gets it the longer he has to enjoy it.
