My relationship- HELP

she is upset, she tells me whenever i see her how she misses me, and wants me to come home, and how she wants me to be mommys boyfriend again. Tugs at the old heart strings big time. She tells me she doesnt want this guy staying over, my ex says she is only saying that cause its what i want to hear.
I still cant work out what, if anything is going on between my ex and this so called friend.
