I keep having these weird dreams, I'm driving along like normal, then the traffic starts to come to a stop at traffic lights. No matter how hard I press down on the brake peddle, the car won't slow down, in fact it feels like it's speeding up. I never know if I do crash in these dreams because I normally wake up, legs kicking about madly. I had this dream last night and woke up the boyfriend who was asking me what was wrong.
Could this perhaps be a subconcious thing caused by my car accident back in February? I never had these dreams beforehand.
In the real-life accident I was hit from behind by a jeep, I was at a stand still waiting to go at a round-a-bout, the car hit me and pushed me out into the round-a-bout and all I can remember is pushing hard on the brake and trying to steer forwards as to keep out of the lane the oncoming lorry was in. |

Sh*t, maybe you predicted what was going to happen to one of the guests at mum's wedding this weekend!
They were travelling uphill, thankfully quite slowly, and the brakes failed completely! The guy who was driving reacted quickly and calmly and pulled the handbrake on but they had only just come off a motorway when it happened and the only reason they had already slowed down was because a bus had broken down up ahead.
As for your dream (sorry, went off-topic)...
Maybe you feel subconsciously that something in your life is moving too quickly and that you feel even though you would like to slow it down it would do no good because what you would try might not work anyway.
You may be waking up before you crash because in reality you dont know the outcome of at least trying to slow things down, however small an effect it has. |

eek.
I doubt anything is moving too fast, things should be going a bit faster in areas. |
