Hi,

I'm very confused about my cycle and I hope someone can advise me.

Typically I spot for a few days before full flow.
I've read differing opinions on when Day 1 actually is - first sign of blood (spotting) or full flow.

I've taken Day 1 as first sign of blood for now.
This would mean I should have ovulated on Day 15 - Sunday 9 January. I did have increased libido around this day, spotting (ovulation spotting?) and mood swings and yesterday I had minor cramping. The cervical mucous was watery and has gone stretchy. I am still spotting and this seems to be usual for me too.
I had an increase in temperature on Day 16 (the Monday) but not for three days - it went back down again on Day 17 and has remained down.
So did I ovulate on the Sunday and was that Day 15?
I did an ovulation prediction test today and I think it's negative.

But if Day 1 should have been taken as when I was in full flow, then Sunday 9th would have been Day 10, today would be Day 13 and I should see something?

Sorry if this is all confusing and to sound so thick - I've never had to do this TTC stuff before and I'm not sure.
