| It is very cold in North America right now a friend just invested in a Civic Hybrid she says she is getting 28 MPG from it, I would expect better from a standard Civic although it should improve when the weather is warmer and maybe when the car is broken in . I must admit I hear so many things about Hybrid I really would not be excited into buying one |

| I have a Nissan Micra Sport convertible. Doesn't weigh much and so it has a good performance with its 1.6 liter engine. I get 33 miles per US gallon out of it in nornal driving, 35+ on long trips. So maybe if you want to help the environment, you should get a small vehicle with a petrol engine, not a big hybrid! But that does sound a high consumption for the Civic... |
