negative test

Hi, need some advise! i have been on the pill for about 3 years now and have never missed a period within the 7 day break. i am now just under 2 weeks late, i took a cheap test 4 days ago and was negative! i have another test but im wondering when might be the best time to take incase i have done the 1st one to early??
I have thought i was pregnant on many occasions but never actually missed a period as i regularly feel sick and tired ect anyway!
i dont no what to think or do?
