Pregnant for six weeks?

I'm taking a pregnancy test in 8 days, due a period in eleven (hoorah for home pregnancy tests). Was just wondering if anyone could gimme any insight in to whether i could be a lot more pregnant than i suspect. Symptoms i have make me pretty certain i am preg. Have a really firm stomach n its a lot more swollen than if i was menstruating, headaches, feeling constantly sick, lower back pains, hungry more than usual, craving mangos! If i am pregnant, i should theoretically only be a few days gone, because i had a period on my last cycle. Is it possible to bleed normally for five days if youre actually pregnant? :S I feel more like ive been pregnant for at least a month. Thanks for your help me loves

I have been off the pill for 2 weeks now, and my husband and I have had sex frequently. I am bloated but firm (my weight varies between 10st and 10st 10lbs throughout any given day). I have taken 2 home tests in just over a week (the 2nd about 10 minutes ago) and both were negative.

I read that a positive result cannot be given until at least 19 days after conception, so therefore they could be false negatives.

The waiting and not knowing for sure if really frustrating!!
