I ran into an ex of mine that I dated a few years ago when I was 19 & she was 18. She's bi & while we were going out, she cheated on me with 3 different guys, this being the reason why I broke up with her. We sat down & had a bit of a catchup, during which she told me she'd dated a couple of different guys since us but only one girl. Apparently the girl cheated on her with a couple of guys as well.

"Yeah, things were going well, then she slept with a couple of guys. That kinda hurt, it was pretty bad... oh sh*t, that's pretty much exactly what I did to you, isn't it? Oh my god, I'm sooo sorry, I never meant to hurt you like that. I'm so sorry."

Looks like through a little growing up & a bit more experience she's finally realised what she did to me back then. At the time she tried to sweep it off as if it didn't even happen & tried to move straight into being friends. Though it was unfortunate that the same thing happened to her, I'm glad that she now fully understands where I was coming from at the time.

Just thought I'd share that experience with you guys, it felt good to reach that level of understanding with her & I just wanted to share that. Cheers!

I'm glad it happened to her as well!! No really, I guess it is true that experience really is the greatest teacher. Hopefully she can learn from it, and think twice if presented with the same situation in the future.
