Please help for those who can.

I was with someone for about a year and a half and because i lost interest in his psycho behaviour i finally broke up with him.

There were problems in the relationship from the start. He was over obsessive, over paranoid and over jealous. Even if i was nice to a waiter he would get jealous and angry at me.

Now 6 months on, he is still bothering me. He won't leave me alone, always calls me, visits me workplace and threatens me everytime i ignore him. I've managed to change one of me phone numbers so that he can't contact me during the day but slowly i feel myself going insane because of him.

Sometimes he still thinks that were still together and gets jealous when he sees me with other guys.

Please anyone that can help, HELP! Thank ou so much i'm running out of ideas of what to do. I even went on holiday and told him that i was going to immegrate. But because he knew where i worked he went there every day until i came back and eventually saw me there. There is no going away from him as he knows where i live.

Men like this are mentally ill, and your best bet would be to get a restraining order against him.

If you are the slightest bit scared for your own safety because of his actions, this is the best thing you can do. Don't wait until he takes things to a more severe level. Protect yourself first. If possible, I would even do a background check on this guy to see if he has any prior arrests or instances of stalking. You need to protect yourself first and foremost. Just simply go to your police station, tell the front desk you need to file a restraining order, and they'll point you in the right direction.

Sorry to hear your trouble, and I hope you can move on without this dilemma in your life.

You’re not alone with such a problem!
My wife and I have exactly the same problem!
He still thinks their married, which makes me the bad guy who stole his wife in his eyes!!!
While we met after they were divorced for two years!
They are divorced for over 5 years at this moment, but he still is very obsessed, jealous, stalking and sometimes dangerous!

Like Mrs. MM said; “men like that are seriously mentally ill”
The only problem is, besides a restraining order there is not much the police/lawyer/judge can do for you until he actually does something illegal!

Don't know what they call it in the UK but here in the USA stalking is what they call what your ex boyfriend is doing. People get locked up here for that. How does the law treat that over there?

I know exactly how you feel. The same thing happened to me a few years ago. Only the guy who was harrassing me eventually got bored and moved onto someone else. Iam sure that doesnt really help you and your situation. But you can get a restraining order on him. Keep records of when he harrasses you, or even threatens you. It might come in handy if he is convicted of harrassment in the near future. I found that counselling helped, cos HE totally wrecked my confidence and made me scared to leave the house. I also spoke to family about it and they knew how hard it was for me, they were there for me 100%. At the time I was at school and my Dad had to take me to school in the car and collect me cos this guy was following me everywhere. My teachers knew all about it and they were always on their guard incase he ever entered school premises. I just hope this guy soon leaves you alone. When you ignore him, it tends to make him even more angry. Maybe if he knew how upset you were maybe something inside him might just click! Dont be afraid to go to the police. They are there to protect.
