Okay.. For the past few months, I've drank around 2.2 liters a day.. which is the amount that I'm supposed to drink since I'm a female around 5'5" who weighs around 148. Lately, though, I've increased my water intake a little bit each day and today, so far, I've drank almost 7 liters of water.. and I'm still thirsty, I'm ALWAYS thirsty.. I pee almost 30 times a day... I have NO IDEA what's wrong with me.. I've also been more hungry lately than I usually am. I haven't gained any weight though.. I haven't gained too much weight in a while considering how much i eat nowadays... I lost 30-35 pounds last year without hardly trying, and since then, I don't gain much weight. Wow I got off subject... my point is... I'M THIRSTY, EVEN THOUGH I DRINK CONSTANTLY, AND I WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME... can anyone please help me?
Go to your doctor. It sounds very much like diabetes. The reason you are thirsty is becuase the insulin keeps your blood sugar in check. If the Insulin malfunctions your bood sugar becomes dangerously high. The only way your body can then deal with it is to flush it out via your kidneys hence the thirst. This is an emergency response that your body does and it's doing it to keep you alive. Problem is that the blood sugar will slowly dissolve your kidneys as it passes through them.
