I AM ATTENDING A FRIENDS WEDDING IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS, WELL MY HUSBANDS FRIEND WEDDING..
WHAT IT IS -I HAVE A GORGEOUS SUIT IN IVORY- PENCIL SKIRT AND FITTED JACKET VERY VERY CLASSY SIZE 10...
I LOVE THIS HAT I OWN THAT GO'S WELL WITH MY SUIT
ONLY THING IS I HAVE NOT BEEN TO A WEDDING SINCE 1996
SO A BIT BEHIND THE TIMES FOR FASHION WEAR FOR WEDDINGS..
SO IF YOU DONT WEAR HATS ANYMORE PLEASE LET ME KNOW BEFORE I LOOK A LITTLE DATED ON THIS DAY..
I HAVE LOOKED IN MAGS AND CATALOGUES AND SEEN LOTS OF FEATHERED HEAD - PIECES . BUT THIS IS NOT FOR ME...
I THINK I REALY SUIT THIS HAT I HAVE ; SHOULD I NOT CARE WHAT THE FASHION IS AND JUST GO FOR IT..
PLEASE REPLY IF YOU HAVE BEEN RECENTLY TO A WEDDING WITH LOTS OF HATS..!!

I thought that wearing ivory to a wedding was a bit of a fashion feux pas in the first place. Do you want to blend in with the bride?

I have been to a couple of weddings and hats are much less popular

but having said that, they have not phased out entirely so its up to you

maybe contact the bride and find out if there is any hats or no hats dress code?

Yeah I say wear a hat I am going to wear one for my friends wedding and also the suit sounds great too and it's also ivory. By the way to the other person who replied it's spelt FAUX PAS!!
