| i'd say the best time is from 20-30 nearer the start that the finish of that time. ofc younger is still ok but you might run into problems with money |

It depends entirely on the individual. I mean, just because you are say, 30 doesn’t mean you make a better mother than someone who is 20 – it all depends on what kind of person you are – how emotionally mature you are etc. I dont think 15 year old are emotionally mature enough to bring up kids, after all they are only children themselves,
Generally though, I think its best to wait till you are financially secure and have got all the things out the way that you want to do – partying travelling etc. I cant wait to have kids, but I am only 20 just now and still plan to study and travel so its not the best time for me to get pregnant. |

| i think the perfect time to have a baby is when you are ready. granted, most 14 year olds are ready mentally, emotionally, or physically... but some are. and if they want to have a child at 14, it is their choice. personally, i think you should have everything planned out, and make sure you can handle having a baby, at any age. my mother had her first child when she was 15, gave him up for adoption because she was raped... and was not ready to have a baby. she had my sister at the age of 18, and me when she was 30. i don't think there is any age that is too young. |

I agree Jessie.
Also, some people don't want to get married! So saying that having a child should depend on getting married doesn't take into account the fact that not all people want to get married. Marriage as an institution is being questioned more and more these days, and while I have got nothing against it, it isn't for everyone. |
