Came to visit but shed gone out

I have just travelled 150 miles to visit my mother in law she new I was coming to see her with our child Sophie my husband is in the Army and away at the moment but he asked me to visit her and we made arrangements and guess what she wasnt in no answer on the phone and no note on the door saying shed be back. My daugher was in tears because she had been dragged away from going to a party at her friends house and for what i am so annoyed I think she deserves to be sad and alone. i dont think I will be coming up again for quite a while if ever. Why are people like this and mess with peoples lives
