I started a new job 9 weeks ago and i am on a 12 week probation, but I also found out a few weeks ago i am 9 weeks pregnant, I havent told my employer as i want to make sure I pass my probation first, and not give them a excuss to get rid of me, has anyone been in the same situation before and will i be entitled to Maternity pay and if not what do I do??

let them know right away your pregnat.
They must give you a maturnity leave-its the law!!!!
you may not get paid for it, but you have to have time off.
for mother-child bounding time also.
They can not fire you for this-
if they do pursue it
you have rights.
