Best time to take a test?

Can u take a test when your not due on your period? of must it be before? i have just started having the injection that lasts 3 months, but my bf didnt wear a condom and im worried i could be pregnant, my period isnt for another 3 weeks,how can i find out beforehand?

OK, firstly pregnancy tests aren't sensitive enough to show up a positive result until your period is due (some are more sensitive, and you can find out up to 3 days before).
Secondly, one of the major benifits of the injection is that it can stop your periods. You can occasionally get a bit of bleeding, but you won't necessarily get it every month.
The most likely time for you to get pregnant, is 7-14 days after the start of your last period. So if your talking of getting pregnant a few days after your last period - it isn't as likely anyway.
