please can you tell me what a web cam is, and how i use it. thanks

it's basically a digital camera that stays connected to your PC, you can use it for video calls, taking pictures, speaking via MSN all sorts of things. They're pretty cheap these days, you can get a perfectly acceptable one for £20/$25 or so.
