I feel stupid for feeling like this cus ino im not ugly but i'd b so happy if i had smooth arms,it would realy give me self confidence.
Im worried that if i start waxing, ile regrett it in the long run- what should i do??
help soon please!xxx |

| Waxing usually does reduce the problem as the hairs, if and when they grow back, as usually finer each time than if you shaved them or used a depilatory cream. My only recommendation would be get a beautician to sell you an exfoliating mitten to reduce the risk of ingrowing hairs. Buff your arms (and legs too, if you have them waxed) in the bath or shower. It's quite nice and invigourating too... |

Wax.I did, same problem, and it's cool.Use wax strips and then soothing aloe vera gel or something afterwards. When the hair grow back it gets a bit pimply but i'm recogning that it is just because the armskin etc needs to get u s e d to the waxing. All in all, one problem less.

i have hairy arms, but they are not thick black hairs or nothin like that. they did used to annoy me when i was 14-16 bou now i dont really care about them. to me, waxing them would just be another thing to add on the list, like the legs, pits, muff. these are enough for me. waxing is a pain and i bet we all wish we didnt have to do it. why dont you just wax a small area first just to see how the hair grows back. |

With wax strips and Aloe Vera the problem is solved in a few minutes and lasts for a few weeks. |

| Thanx evr1 4 ur replies. i do feel abit betta a the min (perhaps cus winter is coming and i can wear long sleaves without questioning!) the only thing im worried about now is what will boys think, what if they think im nice looking but then (uh-oh) notice the arms. i hav had boyfreinds in the past where it wasnt an issue but throughout y10 i became quite badly anorexic and the hair that grows over your body just empasised the fact that i have dark hair. Help! im sacred of gettin close 2 a boy really. ino i shud b focusing more on hu i am as a person but its really hard a hi school wen ppl (especially bitchy girls) are looking for a reason 2 pull u down... |
