No, we must correct ourselves. It was ORGANS (whereabouts are they sited then cause I've missed them altogether?!!!) in the vagina that suck the semen into the right place!!!!!

Oh it makes me laugh coming here it really does.

Frightening how little people know though Shocked

Indeed, people are here to learn but does it not concern you just how little people do know (and I have little people of my own and they know lots). We live in a global society (must allow for the yanks) where our teengaers still think you can't get pregnant the first time, or you can't get pregnant if you do it standing up!!! Or that some bizarre previously undocumentd organs, prompted into action by a vaginal orgasm, mean you're more likely to conceive. The lack of really basic information and the fact that such ridiculous mis-information still happens causes me great concern.

I also have to worry about people who consider themsleves suitable for breeding but don't think it might be a good idea to gen up on how conception happens. They'd rather get their information from the great uninformed. I don't get that. Rolling Eyes

Maybe your trying too hard.
Seemed much easier for my wife to get pregnant when we weren't really "trying".
Try NOT doing it for a while (and no jerking off either!), might build the sperm count some, at least for the first shot (accuracy counts, don't spill the best shot on the bedroom floor Twisted Evil )
sit back, start having sex for fun again, and you'll probably have better luck (and lots less pressure to "perform")
Good luck. Smile

We tried to get pregnant for two years before I finally bought a fertility monitor. I used Clear Blue Easy. It worked the very first time, and I am now the proud mother of a beautiful 1-year-old daughter. I definitely recommend it. It's pretty pricy, though, but so is a baby!! And anything that works is worth the investment! I'll be breaking it out again now that we're thinking of trying for another baby!

Good luck,

Courtney

After a year of trying, 90% of normal, well-adjusted couples will already have succeeded and she'll be pregnant.

Amanda, you might simply be one of the other 1 in 10 for whom that didn't happen and so it's nothing to worry about because there are 9 chances in 10 that you'll click in the next 12 months, or so. It's just one of those things, as in: it's nothing to worry about and it'll happen when it happens.

Provided time isn't a pressing problem, give it at least another year before starting to worry that something might be amiss physically. What I'm saying is to keep the medics out of this because it's probably bugger all to do with them anyway. Maybe the statisticians and/or the medically knowledgeable will have different opinions though...

Actually there's rather good evidence that orgasms do impact the "suction" of the sperm into the "right place". However there's no evidence at all that this impacts whether the women gets pregnant or not.

There are tons of charts to determine fertility based on everything from vagina temperature to what planet is in gemini. You may want to do some research on google. There are enough free sites giving decent advice that I wouldn't pay, just yet. If you find yourself getting desperate there are plenty of fertility experts out there. Be careful, fertility doctors make very good money for very little work.

My ex was on the pill and I noticed that when we'd have sex, if she came at the same time I was shooting inside her, a lot less cum leaked out, so I think her cervix was doing exactly what you describe.

GF now has had a hysterectomy, so it all dribbles out...
