I just really got arrested people!
A black guy on a bus going past pulled out a knife on another black guy...his mates and the other guys mates started fighting..the police arrive, they arrest the bad guy with the knife which was fine...about 5 police cars are here by now... so a big white van full of police turns up and jumps on the guy that did nothing at all and start grappling with him on the floor, he is fighting back cos he has done nothing wrong
Anyway EVERY black person is the area is out now shouting at the police...I was shouting too and we all start pushing towards the police..the start pushing back...more police turn up. There is about a crowd of 300 people now, NO LIE!!!! racial tension is rife and we are told we will all be arrested...my brother grabs me and now I am back at my desk... fkkin fuming...police are racist man. They was all white guys too....Im fukkin mad!

How did it escalate into a near riot ? It sounds to me like the community can sort it's own problems out - after all one group of blokes were fighting another group ...

Innocent people get taken to the station all the time, it's the only way to find out what happened. The police aren't going to automatically know how the fight broke out, so I have no idea why the guy started resisting arrest, despite his innocence. They would have simply dropped the charges and released him at the station.

If the police were all racist, they would have left them to stab one another, as obvious said.

one of the few benefits about being asian is that the phrase "innocent until proven guilty" is actually being followed by the police here.

You know I hate seeing anyone treated badly. I remember when I saw this man beating the shite out of his wife in the middle of the street, people were just stood there watching.
I was the only one that grabbed hold of him and started shouting, his wife was going please stop you make it worse *they were polish i think* But I follwed them into this hotel shouting at the man like mad he looked so embarassed....I was shouting wife beater, mother fukker....
The hotel escorted me out and when I told them what happened they apparently had a word with him *rolls eyes*
No one helped and the girls nose was bleeding....I hate that crap.

Ok I need to calm down
