The main question is subjective.

The answer depends on one's perspective.

"Who's that knocking at my door?" said the Lovely Young Maiden....
"Down with the door and onto the floor!" said Barnacle Bill the Sailor.

"Will you take me to the dance?" said the Lovely Young Maiden....
"To Hell with the dance and off with your pants!" said Barnacle Bill the Sailor.

Knowing nothing and having a different opinion are entirely different things. Said Barnacle Bill the sailor!

It's nice to know you're interested in porn as well as the BNP buttons. You are the whole mansion.

First I have no porno here or anywhere else. Not that you care, nor do I. I do care when people state that porno is bad for women, men or anyone else. It's an expression of normal sexuality and as such, as a good social liberal, I dislike people poking their prudish nose in another's business.

As far as the BNP. I have no idea. I find their retoric, on a quick review only, to be flawed by a lack of understanding of how socialist the UK is in reality. Thus I wouldn't support them, I would immigrate to the USA.

this is very well lets say rubbish porn by deffinition doesn't even have to include women not to mention the large numbers of women who look at porn themselves. how are the women objectifyed in porn anymore than there male co-stars whos sole attribute seem to be having a larger than average penis male porn actors get paid far less than women do and tend to have little public recognition than pin up girls do.

porn being like violence give me a break i've never punched someone only for them to fall on the floor and get a dildos

i agree with all you say, but i still don't understand why conventional porn has to be so bad...it's poorly produced, poorly shot, poorly directed and they still all use the same background muzak that makes me want to jump out the window rather than play with myself...it's been that way forever...the production quality has improved only a little since digital came into use, but the final product still sucks....the kinky fetish porn is so much better produced....i can't understand it :?

Today, with digital cameras and desktop publishing, a budget of a few thousand dollars can make a porno movie. Not long ago the cost, using film and manual editing was in the many tens of thousands of dollars.

All investments must pay off. It is far easier to pay off a few thousand dollars over the Internet than it was through traditional pornographic outlets. The quality of pornography has suffered because the production doesn't have to be "good" anymore, it just has to get a few bored men to buy a copy.

Oh and fetish porn has to be good, because the market is smaller.

Some halfway decent movies in the porn industry that buck the trend.

Babylon
Seven Deadly Sins
Flashpoint
Watchers
Bad Wives
Insatiable
Taxi Dancer
Eyes of Desire Part 2
One Size Fits All
Ecstatic Moments
New Devil In Miss Jones

if the issue is with the dominant, oppressive aspect of pornography, then don't buy porn that has those elements. At it's root, porn is just the depiction of sex. and I don't see anything inherently wrong with depiction of sex.

What about stuff like lesbian porn, or gay porn, or amateur or voyeur porn?
