Like they used to say about Volvo drivers, "...they never have accidents, but they see enough of them". |

How can you say that women are safer than men, only looking at some figures, which are deliberately designed to mislead. The figures you should be looking at is the number of accidents per 10k miles, which show men and women to be virtually even.
Also, There are many good drivers of both sexes, and there are aweful ones in both sexes, I don't think that you can just say because someone is a woman that they are Safer!!
Finally, the reason that women get less points than men, is that on average a woman drives shorterr trips and less motorway driving. Hence less chance of being caught. |

| I agree that men and women are mostly equal. Some females try to multi-task while driving, which causes accidents. (Males do that too) As well as lots of Males like speed, which can sometimes cause issues. (But also, females are like that too). I think its just the type of person you are, how much you love your vehicle, and how closely you pay attention. Although, when someone hits you, its not your fault, so I cant speak for those instances. I suppose I should also say that I am a female. Ive never been in, or cause an accident. I still think men and women are equally good and bad drivers!! |

Which would lead into the saying, they may not be in a lot of accidents, but they cause a shitload of them, because they don't know the unwritten laws! |

In 10 years of driving I have to say, all the near misses Ive had because of other peoples idiot drvining has been men & out of the 4 accidents where people have driven into me, 3 of them were men.
lol men have had it drummed into them for so many decades that they are good drivers alot of them kind-of think its something that comes naturally.
You're just more spacially aware guys, get over it lol.
And whose to say womens general lack of spacial awareness isnt just lack of confidence from being told for the last 100 years that they are no good at driving?
I always compare driving to sex. Some people are naturally good, some people are hesitant & some people never learn. |

They may not be in as many accidents, but their slow and wimpish driving causes plenty. Then there are those gems that can't get up with the alarm and they are putting on their makeup, talking on the phone, and wriggling into their pantyhose while driving on the expressway. I think I'll take my chances with the faster moving, more aggressive men. They know the unwritten rules of the road as well as those you get quizzed on to obtain a license. |

Indeed, the men do hate it when I demonstrate driving skills better than theirs. Its such fun to see the looks on their faces when they realise they've been owned by a female driver
Course some of them can take it too far & try to run you off the road. Nutters. |

going five under the speed limit and multi tasking in the one environment where focus to the task at hand is paramount is hardly "better driving" or "OWNING!"
Misandrism at it's finest, once again! Just another one stirring up trouble.
let's see how you do backing a trailer, or pulling into a gas station without destroying the pump island! |

| They don't pay actuaries six-figure incomes to come up with spurious data. If there was virtually no difference between the safety stats between the sexes, Insurance rates would remain the same regardless of gender. Granted, the rates do generally approach equilibrium at around ages 25-28... |
