CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW BABY!
When my baby was about the same age as your baby we had the same problem! She used to feed every hour and guzzle down 40z and then cry for more!! I was having trouble breast feeding - there wasnt enough milk for her she was so hungry so we switched to Aptimal - there is a range called Aptimal for hungrier babies - its more expensive than cow and gate but it does the trick! After a few months you can switch to the normal formula!
As for health visitors - dont worry about their advice - i found mine were useless and decided to trust my motherly insticts! Most health visitors have never had children anyway so what do they know!!
Hope this helps.
Let us know if it does or doesnt!

I breastfed my baby for 7 and a half month. I felt like giving up cos the pain at first was gettin really bad, but rathr than give it up for good, i give her 1 bottle of that aptimal a day, which was a great help. I only needed to do that for the first 2 weeks.

Im not pregnant with my 3rd baby and this one is deffo gettin breastfed too!

I found with my 1st child everyone was tryin to tell me what to do (i was only 16 when i had him), and i hated it. But when it comes down to it a mother knows best. I dont listen to what any health professional has to say, they only go by what they have read in a book. Every child is different and only you know your own child well enough to know what is right and whats wrong Exclamation
