i am now 8 weeks after giving birth and had a real bad tear that needed to have stitches as it wouldn't stop bleeding.
well 8 weks on it has stopped bleeding but still has not healed and joined together, so i still have a large tear, plus my skin tag from before and being graphic my fanny hole is a lot larger than it was before.

Has anyone any tips on getting the tear to heal, because the stiching has already gone, my doc said i just have to wait.

Go back to the dr and tell him you want it sorted out, if the tear is open i don't think it will close up as the tear has probably healed egdes now. If you get no satifactory answer from him ask to be referred to a gynaecologist or even the obstetrician that you were under for the pregnancy and birth. You could also try seeing a different practise dr or the practise nurse (if there are any others) Ask if there is a well woman clinic at your surgery, you should at least get a sympathetic ear there. BTW was the dr you saw male or female?
