A whole bunch of my cousins up to Michigan work there. My uncles and one auntie are all on the line , one cousin is a secretary or as they call them now ass't, with another who is my age pulling in just under 80K a year as a technician .The auto industry always paid real good . People from all over America and foreign countrys ( one uncle works with alot of people from Hong Kong and arabs too ) for the money . But it's all in deep trouble now since Ford and GM on purpose don't make cars to last more then 4 years so they can sell new ones so people are buying more rat cars ( foreign cars ) and this week Ford said it will close down plants and fire alot of people .

Anyone got a derogatory acronym for Chevy? I've had much worse experiences with them than I have ever had with Fords.This was uttered by a friend's brother to him, many years ago when they were teenagers, within earshot of their mother, which was not wise at the time, as she ended up beating the "Chevy" out of both of them:"You Son of a Buick, I'm going to beat the Chevy out of you".
