hi there can anyone give me some advice on a nice place to take my son away to it will be his first holiday abroad, his 7 years old and an only child.
anywhere you have been thats child friendly but still has a bit of life to it please let me know about.
cant afford disneyland so please dont tell me about it.

Yeah forget Disneyland, Ive been a few times and you need plenty of spending money.
I would suggest places like Canary Islands or Mainland spain, most of the hotels have kids clubs and you can send your boy out on wee day trips with other kids while u relax and enjoy the time to yourself. Chill by the bar and pool. The reps are great with the kids they put all their energy into making sure the kids have a fun time. Laguna Park 2 hotel in Tenerife was good with kids. I was there in 2003 |
