Anyone play it?

I would like to start playing the game. How long do you think I will be able to play at a reasonable level?

Like golf but it takes a long time to master and you have to keep it up.

I reckon 6 months before you can play to a decent standard

I recommend you read up on it on the internet and read how your shoulders, legs and elbows ETC should be positioned.

Also practice putting your house and get a couple of lesson from a pro down at your local driving range.
