If you want to use your PSP wirelessly through a network, then you're going to need an adapter as PSPs don't have built in wireless network capabilities.
Doing a search for "psp wireless network adapter" comes up with loads of hits.
Alternatively you could connect it all up with cables, but either way there's no way to do it for free.

This site tells us how to set up a wireless network for a PSP:
http://www.askdavetaylor.com/how_do_i_set_up_a_wireless_wifi_access_point_for_my_sony_psp.html

This article seems like it says everything needed to know about setting up the PSP to use a network: http://www.engadget.com/2005/03/29/how-to-get-rss-feeds-on-your-psp/

Hopefully that will help. I'm only going off what stuff I could find though as I've never set up a wireless network before, and I don't have a PSP.

Oops. Sorry. I must have been rather tired when I replied. I'll see what else I can find.
