My friend found out yesterday she has chlamydea. She has two daughters, the youngest is 15 months, who don't seem to have contracted it. Which leads us to think she's gotten it recently.
She's only been with her husband - who claims he's never cheated. He had two other partners before marrying 6 years ago.
I'm telling her not to leave him just yet... to wait until she can see her Dr. next week (she's already had the antibiotics) to make sure theres little possibility that they've both had it for years and never knew until she developed PID.
I just don't know the odds of her having it and not giving it to the kids.. or of him having it and not giving it to his wife somehow...
