pre-proposal conversation

Postby Lubie on Tue Mar 06, 2007 1:05 pm

I was at dinner with friends the other day. One of them was telling me that there is something like a pre-proposal conversation before a guy proposes. Obviously, I presume that it is nothing set in stone whether a guy does this or not. But did any of you have this type of conversation with your SO?

Can you give some detail if you have experienced this before? How did he start it, when did it happen and how soon after did you get engaged and what was the general discussion in this conversation? I am nowhere near that point with my SO but was just curious. Thanks in advance.
Love me for who I am

i suppose i made it very clear what i wanted from a very early stage and so was always on the cards. i just wish he would hurry up and ask.

i cant remember how the subject came up we have spoke about it so much
