i know a few men who don't drive for various reasons (including one who lost his licence for over a year, so his wife has to drive him everywhere

) and i don't have a problem with it, although that the way that some men get attached to their cars, coupled with a tendency to take over what they see as their business, means that it is a bit unusual, although not as unusual as it used to be. in any case, i don't make a good passenger - i'm one of those people who keep pressing imaginary pedals on the floor when i'm in the passenger seat - so i rather prefer to be the driver, regardless of whether the other person in the car is male or female.
the original question was directed at women, but i think it might be more interesting to find out what men think of men who don't drive!
