How can i tell if i'm pregnant without the test?

I believe i might be pregnant, what are the early signs of pregnacy? I am a week late on my period, and my stomack a blooting and i've been craving alot of food, i usually don't eat as much as i do know!

unfortunately pregnancy symptoms are pretty much the same as period symptoms, so its a bit hard to tell very early on.

some other signs apart from what u mentioned are needing to pee a lot more than usual, sore boobs, swollen boobs, a thing called micturtion which is a sticky white non-smelly discharge and possibly morning sickness from around 6 weeks or so (if u are pregnant ur prolly only around 3 weeks at the moment)

When is your period due? There is a new test out called first response it can detect if your pregnant b4 your due on.

Signs of pregnancy are; weeing more, itchy irritable nipples, brown marks on your stomach and obviously sickness.

Of course you go to the toilet more Lesley thats one main sign-my mums had 4 kids she always had itchy nipples and told me that when i had a pregnancy scare not long ago. People go through different feellings when they are pregnant, some may always get sickness, some may not at all.

The only time I needed to go to the loo more was at the end when baby was on my bladder.

There is no definite sign, sugarbabe. Everyone is different - that's why if you think you're pregnant you need to do a test. I had sore boobs and bloating and I was emotional: it was kind of the same as before my period, but then my period just didn't come! I could just kind of 'tell' that is wasn't going to come. I did the test straight away. Don't be scared lucky girl,: just get a friend and go and do it.

Also I didn't start peeing more until a couple of weeks after I knew I was pregnant.

i have alll those symptoms but i came on my period anyways but i always fill i have to vomit and my period dont come in the month it should it comes the next month.

You can't have a proper periods although some people do have spotting - which can be mistook for a period. Any regular heavy bleeding should be taken seriously when pregnant.

This is *only* in the interest of being complete:

Urinate on some barley seeds and wheat seeds. If the barley grows, it means a male child. If the wheat grows, it means a female child. If both do not grow, you're not pregnant. (Truely ancient old wives tale found on paparus from Egypt. 1350 BC. Tested in 1963 which found it 70% effective. That is almost as effective as home tests from the late 1970's!)

In a 1552 text, pregnancy urine was described as: “clear pale lemon color leaning toward off-white, having a cloud on its surface.” Other tests included mixing wine with urine and observing the results. Indeed, alcohol reacts with certain proteins in urine, so this may have had a moderate success rate.

Inject your urine into an immature rat or mouse. In the case of pregnancy, the rat will show an estrous reaction (be in heat) despite its immaturity. (AKA The rabbit died ...) Rabbits, frogs, toads, and rats were used too.
