It is hard to imagine a scenario like this. If this is true no wonder you are clueless how to react. If you had reacted by throwing a tantrum it would have left a bad taste. So you are handling it fine so far. A guy telling that to another guy about the latter's wife is... I dont know what to say.. just extremely weird and ugly. He must either be a very rude nasty guy or a stupid guy who thinks he is joking and you will find him funny. If it is the latter, it is better. What he is like otherwise? I mean.. does he seem to be a nice person generally? His remark that your wife is a naughty girl is the little disturbing point here. What he meant there? Were you two being naughty before them guys and gave him the idea that may be you would be open to the idea of someone else having a one-off incidence with your wife? From what you have said I dont think you told your wife exactly what happened. Did you tell her what this guy told you? I would expect her to get mad. You can have her fire him. But if your wife too seems to be encouraging the idea, I dont think there is much you can do. At last a post that mirrors my own thoughts. The guy himself seems quite nice, he just looks the sort of guy that might get married girls to forget their marriage vows. I think he was partly joking, more as a complement to my wife, but he seems the sort of guy who would at least try and I'm sure would succeed quite a bit.
As for my wife, I haven't told her about the guys comments, her fancying him came up in general conversation. She's never been the sort of girl to shy away from saying she fancies another guy

By you saying you wont fire him- you're showing that you're allowing him to get away with these kinds of extremely rude and disrespectful comments. So I disagree that if you fire him you're showing it gets to you.
If it happened to me, I would have been upset, thought about it, and if I didn't go backl ater that evening to get the guy off the job due to disrespect- I would probably been pissed off in the evening and then gotten rid of him the following day.
If he'd been even worse- I would most likely get my old "brotherhood" involved.

Personally I would have laughed and said "go for it she doesn't like men with baby dicks" and tried to attack his insecurity and humiliate him

I'm pretty emotionally detached so I wouldn't have upset me that much (long story about my past which we don't have time for)

I say if it upsets you fire him, your happiness is what counts if its making you doubt things then remove the problem
