| IS A FEMALE LED RELATIONSHIP BETTER? I'VE TOLD MY WIFE THAT SHE SHOULD BE IN CHARGE. SHE THINKS THIS IS A SILLY IDEA. WE GENERALLY AGREE 95% OF THE TIME ON THINGS, BUT THE OTHER 5% CAUSES THE PROBLEMS. I'M WILLING TO CONCEDE TO HER IN THESE AREAS. WHAT DO YOU THINK? |

I would really like some other opinions, especially from women. Is this a mistake I'll regret?.... |

I'm not sure I can say if it's better or not. I prefer 50-50, how's that |

| Im not sure what you mean by female led in my house I take care of the money my hubend gets a set amount each week I feel this works for us so we both arnt just running around spending mony with out knowing what the other one is buying this can get people into trouble. but as far as the rest of it like where to eat and what movie to see we take turns picking so in that case it is 50/50. |

Yeah, I do all the household stuff and bill paying so he doesn't have to do anything but work. We usually agree, but if we don't we compromise.
I don't agree with male or female led, it's not fair to the other person. |

We’re not married, but my girlfriend makes about 50% more money than I do. I give her ½ the rent and give her ½ the money the groceries. I do the yard work, about 75% of the laundry, about 30% of the cleaning, take out trash, wash dishes, etc.. and she pays the gas, electric, water etc… cooks, and about once a week she takes me out to dinner. Her money is her money and mine is mine and after bills we spend how we please.
I think we have a pretty even and fair relationship. |

Doesn't anyone believe that matriarchal families would provide a more nurturing, stable, and harmonious living environment for the entire family? |

Sure if you have kids, but why do two people that love each other have to get married? Why is it that society doesn’t see one as being complete until your married? I don’t believe in the old ways of my parents and grandparents. We aren’t going to have kids and don’t plan on getting married. Why do we need the label or paper to express our love and commitment to eachother?
Maybe this would be a good topic for another thread. Anyone want to start it? |

sounds to me like you want to hand all the pressure and responsibilty to your wife. she's your wife not your mother. why should she spend HER life solely looking after YOUR life?
marriage should be a partnership.
stop being so bloody lazy! |

No. Why do you assume women are harmonious, stable and nurturing?
I'm not female bashing, just curious how you surveyed a few billion people to determine that. |

Female led relationships used to exist in the past, as they will be in the future. Perhaps they used to be more subtle, not pre-arranged ones.
As the roles of the genders become less defined roles also will change.
If two people can function and be happy this way this is fine. Personally
I believe that this is a totally subjective matter but I am for engalitarian
types of relationship. Having one person in charge of a relationship is not the best thing. The new fad of Female-led relationships as appears in the internet is more or less not a new movement but a masquaraded male-fetish in a new format.Thats why it has little response from females and the _-advocates of female led relationships cater more to males...and of course it is commercial to the core. Women pay for their shopping sprees (mostly with male earned money)and males pay for their
vivid sex fantasies. Statistics show worldwide that women are bigger debtors, consumers credit card-users than men. Although women earn the same or often more still rely and expect men to pay in social settings and in dating. Women tend to marry up. Women are not always better decision makers than men. This shows that women have long way to progress in order to be able to be in charge of a household. And I do not believe that the average woman wants to be in charge of a household. Women prefer equality and men too. Female led is just one concept among the millions around with little or not value. My vote goes to NO...Female-led are not better... |

Studies have proven that people from liberal countries with more egalitarian pairings are the happiest |
