| I am so pleased it has worked out for you...now for the hard work lol... my little one is 4 weeks today and I really need some sleep! I remember my 12 week scan, amazing isn't it...mine was sucking his thumb even at that stage...and nothing has changed since he loves to suckle. Mr A is changing him at the mo giving me 5 minutes off. Anyway Good luck and hope you have a healthy and happy pregnancy x |

there's is nothing you can do but try to take it easy and keep calm. you left a sensible ammount of time between the two, your body will have recovered, there is every reason to beleive this baby will be fine.
i got caught this time straight after m/c, no period in-between, which apparently upped my risks, as well as it being possible i wasn't really pregnant at all. but my pregnancy has been fine and i was due yesterday, so it should be anytime now.
best of luck and try not to panic. |

hi
i was told at my 12 week scan that my baby had died at 8 weeks after four years of trying i was devastated. however i had one period a month after the miscarriage and am now pregnant . i am obviously woried and trying to be cautious but dont want it to take over my life. i just wondered if anyone else had fell pregnant so quickly and if it increases the risk of another miscarriage
thanks |

| i have an 8 week old son, i concieved him straight after a m/c, no period in-between. apparently the risks were increased, but it was fine, and i was told as long as you have one period then that's ok, they just like to know everything was as it should be after your loss. i'm sure you'll be fine, congratulations! |

hi
thanks for your reply but unfortunately i have bad news
i was sent for a scan on friday approx 5weeks 6days and they were unable to see anything even with the internal scan. i had my hormone levels checked and they were 2000 which the docyor said would mean they should be able to see the baby. they are no querieing weather i am having an ectopic pregnancy and i have to go back to the hospital on monday for more checks on hormone levels and another scan . when i asked the consultant what he thought he said it doesnt look promising .....all i can do now is wait till monday and see what happens |

Hi Lucy
Reading all your posts has made me much more optimistic. I started to bleed on 28th January after finding out the previous Monday that I was pregnant with our first baby (I was only 5 weeks so didn't have d+c or anything). Last week I still hadn't had a period and my breasts were becoming increasingly sore and huge so on Sunday I did a test and it's come back positive. I'm going to see the doctor this afternoon to confirm and get registered and everything however I must admit not much of me was that positive about going full term with this pregnancy. I'm definately going to try nd pay to have an early scan as I think with it being so soon after my miscarriage all the heartbreaking emotions re still there fresh in my mind so can't seem to trust that this may be okay, my husband feels exactly the same. But fingers crossed. Thank you |
