Real hair will move and feel like your own, and extensions don't get more natural than when you use the real thing. You can use heated appliances such as curling tongs or straighteners on your hair extensions.
You need to speak to a girl called charlotte base in plymouth ...
I live in bristol and i spoke to her and she gave me some great advice on hair extensions .. i got family who live in plymouth so i booked myself appointment with charlotte i see her in a couple off weeks..

How to create modern twist curls
Steps: 1. First, rough dry your hair to get most of the moisture off.
2. Then... apply a product especially designed to protect your hair from the heat.
3. Next, blow-dry your hair with a paddle brush, using your dryer with the nozzle attachment.
4. Once your hair is dry, apply more protective product and section the hair, combing each one as you go through.
5. Place the straighteners at the root holding them horizontally and without closing them. Carefully wrap the section around the plate all the way to the end.
6. Close the straighteners, rotate, and pull them away from your head in one slow movement. Allow the section to cool. Keep alternating the direction of the curls.

hi i'm from notts area and i travel up to notts to have my extensions done by a girl called tammy she has a shop in the centre called evil twinz and i have extensions that are called tree braiding that are single extensions plaited in at the roots no glue or sewing involved they are amazing...they are tiny little plaits that you don't see and they last for ages... thay take awhile to put in but are well worth the wait...you can have half head 3/4 head what ever you want...

I've had the same hair for over a year noew and keep getting the extensions pushed back up to the root.
i had them a couple of months back. As for cons, they are veryyy expensive and require a lot of maintenance although if you get past that they do look fab if you wear them well!

They do not need alot of care like the racoon.
I use the Micro link method which the links i use are the copper cylinder typre that holds the hair extension and your own hair tightly NOT damaging your own hair.
Also if any do fall out they can easially be put back in.
I've taken the system from the salon in Knightsbridge in London that does them.
All my clients are very impressed and would NEVER go back to having raccon.
I agree that the small micro links that people use can work out expensive as when bonding the extension you have to make them up very thin which means hundreds of little links annoying you.
My system is different and you cannot buy the links i use in England.

There are many different types of extensions on the market. If your daughter is new to extensions she might want to think about having "clip-ins" as she is only 15 and might take time to get used to having longer hair. These are easy to fit and maintain. These are daily "pop in pop out" solution. Once she's used to it she can then go for bonded extensions in a salon.
If she wants to use her GHD's she would have to go for human hair. Be wary of the "cheaper" options out there however as they are really a false economy and generally give you poorer results.
