Men wearing womens jeans

Found this forum and had to chime in. So. California born and raised (born 53) and grew up with levis and bell bottoms. But as time passed Levi discontinued my "cuts" so finally gave up. The trend of baggy non-fit jeans just didn't fit me nor did I feel right in them, YUK!!!! So many years ago I started buying chicks levis, which fit great, Levi switched guys jeans to chick jeans???
Anyways, no guy jeans out there for me anymore, I take care of myself, don't need baggies. So my point is, I found on EBAY what I needed without going to stores. Blue Cult fits great, Miss Sixty as well, but my favorite for low rise and fit is Frankie B. I am a perfect Frankie B sz 4 and have way too many jeans (200+) but love each and every one. Frankie B jeans are, yes high end, but the fit is consistent and the styles are great! I love the low rise tight fit and watching people look at what I am wearing, it doesn't bother me at all, I do have a good time changing how how people look at style...

I started wearing womens jeans a while back, it all started with a dare from my partner. I find them more comfortable and better fitting and looking than male jeans.

I have a few pairs of womens jeans from Pilot which are definitely my favourite.

I like to think they are just jeans and no one can really tel if a person is wearing male or female jeans.

But looking at people more closely, I think maybe I am wrong.

Does anyone out there think that there are definite give aways that a pair of jeans was intended for women?

Depends on how high the heels are.

Yes me too i have 4 pairs of women jeans cos of size as I cant wear men jeans whichis too big for me... there is nothing wrong with it as Ive wearing all time also wear at my work... I do have skinny jeans as well.

I love wearing skinny jeans. They feel really great and I usually wear them without any underwear. The H&M Squin is really nice and they are not too tight around the waist and crotch. I also like the J Brand jeans and Levis slim fit for girls. I will buy some straight leg jeans too and see how they are. Anybody have some ideas on which one I should get?

Being of the tall, lean and lanky "rock climber" build, I find it pretty much impossible to find guys jeans that fit... it's always been a compromise, often having to sacrifice having a baggy looking rear for leg length. When did you last see guys jeans with a 26 or 27 inch waist and a 34 inch leg? Guys jeans always feel like bloody cardboard too, and I've yet to find a pair that doesn't get misshapen either (ie. even baggier looking than they started off!).

I'm still experimenting and searching for the right style that is not overtly female, but has the right proportions for my body type. The only style I have found so far, and that does not leave me with an embarrassing bulge is a pair of (stretch) Miss Sixty Harriett's - 25W 34L - plain medium blue, not the pale/bleached two-tone ones. I've had some favourable responses from female friends - the unique seam styling on the Harriett's make my legs look as long as they are, and my butt looks firm. And they happen to be the most comfortable jeans I have ever worn. I still need to find a style that's a bit less overtly female than these though, as much as I do like themmmm.

(I actually get more negative remarks for my baggy-butt guys jeans than I do the M60's)

As with any type of clothing, pick the style, cut and SIZE wisely, and if you have the shape to make it work, wear what you like!

Just got my first pair of Gloria Vanderbilt jeans. Really like the way they fit. Now i got more womens jeans than mens. 8 pairs of womens and only 3 of mens.
I like the womens more as they are not as scratchy as the mens. A lighter denim i think.

Has anyone actually stoped and relised that womens clothing actually has mens clothing in the tittle, women are deffinately smarter than guys as they started wearing out clothes years back and only now men are relising that womens clothes are as much for them as they are for us. I have many pairs of womens jeans as i like many others find them much more sexier, as they feel great and look great, I never relised what a nice bum, I had before.

yes , womens jeans feel much better and they also give a beautiful shape to my butt. people do notice them especially girls when they are te typical girlie print ones. i even had a girl compliment me on the way my butt looked. that encouraged me and these days i only wear womens jeans when i go out and its nice to see those girls staring you down and then realising that im wearing womens jeans. i usually wear a contrast coloured Thong inside so when i bend down one can actualy see the pice of lingerie betweenthe jeans and tshirt

I've had good luck so far with the Levi 518/524 (superlow and too superlow rise) jeans. They generally have about 2% Spandex for some stretch, but other than that, they are hard to distinguish at a distance from the male variety. I get the best fit with women's 3L, but then I'm a skinny dude. They feel great and I know they make my butt look a heckuva lot nicer. There's tons on Ebay!

I really want some womens jeans.

I have been looking at some, and tried on some 7 for all mankind jeans at TKMaxx this week. I was concerned that the flare at the ankle was a bit too feminine, so I asked the saleswoman, who agreed that they did look a bit too girlie.

My wife won't accept me wearing women's jeans, and even thinks that men's bootcut and skinny jeans look feminine & silly.

So, has anyone seen any girl's jeans that could pass on the legs as a male cut, but be female around the butt etc?

FWIW I understand the fit around the butt is because the crotch seam is brought further forward towards the crotch than on men's jeans, which is why they hug the bum.

Please advise if you can.

p.s. I have found the denim in Esprit to be some of the comfiest, but have jot have the guts to buy any yet as I have felt them all to look too feminine in the leg still as mentioned above

Not tried womens jeans - but I do like denim skirts.
I would have thought womens jeans would have been very uncomfortble to wear around the front.
