racoon hair extensions

Postby darkwillow on Sun Feb 10, 2008 7:45 pm

I have racoon hair extensions and have had them now for 6 years. With European hair they are very realistic and if you have ever had long hair before, are not any more difficult to look after than having long hair of your own.
You do have to watch the type of shampoo/conditioner you use as some will make the glue bonds go sticky. But over all I owuld say they are fantastic : :D

I have had them in now 8 weeks, and they are still looking great, and i havent lost any. the salon was very professional, and they brought me lunch. I will definatly be returning there, even though i live in London. :D

I love Hair extensions, but if you get braids they can be too heavy.

Great Lengths hair extensions are great, I have tried a lot and its the best I ve found. Lets be honest, all hair extensions damage your hair slightly - but if your thinking of having extensions you prob havent got long, lovely, flowing locks in the first place anyway!!! My hair was screwed from years of straightening etc so having extensions makes it look lush again!!! Great lengths are so easy to look after - you just wash conditioning (but not the bonds) and leave them to dry naturally and they go to an amazing wave!! Much easier than my real hair, cos I faf about straightning etc and it still looks crap.

A great hairdressers Ive found is 'CF40' in Tonypany, I dont live there, but me and 5 of my friends travel there for extensions!!!!

THe best new method is micro rings. I do the micro rings and micro ring wefts which is far kinder to the hair and uses NO heat whatsoever or glue. It's proving really popular that's why I have gone self employed as well doing it on a mobile service.

I'd definately go for the cold fusion methods now a days :o)

If you are looking for hair extensions, please check this:
http://www.gumtree.com/london/74/23586574.html
I call phone given on this website and ask for price, they told me 400-700 pounds depends from hair color and lenght. They are located in East London, Leytonstone but hairdresser can travel to your place and do hair extensions in your home! Excellent!

i've been told european hair is actually not good quality for extensions because european chicks dye their hair alot and its really hard to get consistent hair that hasnt been damaged by chemicals. some extensions companies put a silicone layer to make the hair look shiny again but it just goes frizzy and puff up after like 2 weeks. i always get Great Lengths because they are the only ones i kno that go to the trouble of keeping the hair healthy. and they feel so natural. even though u pay a bit more for it, after u've had extensions for a month or two u kno ur getting ur getting ur moneys worth. u dont want to look crap after u've paid that much to look so fab.
