This is my first ever bitch on FF, and I feel quite happy about it.
So, there is this girl at work called Louise. She has been here for only about six weeks, while I have been there for nearly two years. (we work at McDonalds, by the way)
Despite having been here for only six weeks, she thinks she has the right to boss everyone around. She tells me what do, if you can believe that! I mean, I know what I am supposed to do, and I am not going to listen to some fat cow who thinks she knows everything. I ignore her when she tells me what to do. I don't think I have to listen to her, and she should be doing what I tell her, as people who have been working for a long time are allowed to tell the newer ones what to do - not boss them around, as such, but keep them working.
We usually have to ask to get a drink when we are working, but she just gets one right in front of everyone, and drinks it in front of all the customers when we are meant to go out the back. She hides her drinks, even, and that's a no no, except for first thing in the morning.
Today she was asked to do Transition, which is basically when one person has to sweep and mop the floor, wipe the tables down, and change all the bins in the Dining room. She was asked to do all this at 1.00pm. Jayde, the Manager on duty, asked her to do it. At 2.15pm, Jayde asked Louise if she had finished Transistion, and Louise said that she had only changed the bins.
So she was made to go back out and finish what she should have done earlier, and meanwhile, I was the only person serving on counter, and I had one customer walk out because he couldn't stand to wait one minute longer, even though I said sorry he had to wait.
Whenever I am asked to do Transition, I can get it done in 20 minutes, no more than that. Some people take an hour or more to do it because they dawdle, and others, like Louise, flatly refuse to sweep and mop the floor and think they can just get away with changing the bins and that no one will notice that the floor is dirty.
I swear, it drives me nuts to have someone just ignore the orders they have bee given, because sometimes when they refuse to sweep and mop the floor it is their home time, and it means that someone else is stuck doing the job that another person was too lazy to do in the first place.
So that ends my first bitch! It feels so good to get that off my chest. If anyone has any suggestions on what I can do to let this girl know that she is not my boss, without being rude, it'd be appriciated.

I wonder what the manager is doing? Maybe she is giving her rope( as obviously only having worked 6 weeks she is not secured in her position) to get rid of her . I would continue to work hard be painfuly nice to her smile more and you could make yourself look good. I know the world is not fair and many people do bad things to others the only thing we can control is our actions and hurt as few people in our jouney throgh life as we can make as many laugh as we can !

Jayde doesn't like her eithor, but she can't get rid of her, she's only a Supervisor. Deb, the actual boss, wouldn't get rid of her unless she really did something wrong.
I am a professional person and have to work in a small office with 3 guys:-
1: A guy who can't string 2 words together without swearing and picks his nose and then eats it! The dirty b***ard!
2: A guy who sneezes all over the place and will never take a sick day! He refuses to use tissues even though I bought him some and has given me 4 really bad colds already this year! I have one now and will be off work tomorrow as a result! The dirty b***ard!
3: A bad-tempered moody Scottish b***ard who hates everything in the World and especially English people! Tw*t!
I don't think there is a way to do it without sounding rude. The next time she tries to boss you just remind her that you know what to do. Tell her you're not going to take orders from her!
If that fails then yes - bitch slap her as Mr A says...
