Excuse me ! But see all you people in here telling her that she is too young, what gives you the right to tell someone what they are, or are not, ready for ?? If she feels that she is ready to have a baby, and is emotionally, physically and financially ready, then should it not be up to her ?? Sixteen is a young age to become pregnant ... but it is the legal age ! If it was considered to be as bad as so many people say it is, then it would not be legal !! Also, some sixteen year olds or seventeen year olds are more mature and ready to have a baby than alot of older people getting pregnant! You cannot tell anyone what to do with their life ! Dewdrop I have being diagnosed with PCO as well and have just finished my course of Clomid, it was unsuccessful but i have 2 friends who have PCO on Clomid which it has worked for, I am not giving up hope I am having a 6 month break then trying Clomid again, I am just going to enjoy sex for a while and leave the charts to one side- Good Luck

I suggest .... whatever your age is now.... wait another 10 years before trying for another child... and think hard about what you are doing... perhaps you might even be blessed with a child from an orphanage... maybe you can (heal) by adopting a child someone else might have killed via abortion....

im from the uk and i think its totally disgusiting what you said to that girl about having a abortion! i had one too i was 15 and it was 5 years ago this year and i still suffer to this day about having one, do you know its a hard decision to make? and you go through hell having one? you should think twice about judging people because if you was in that situation what would you do?

Don't come on here talking about the 'A' word when there are (some) women who are desperate for children.
The only time when abortion is acceptable is if the pregnancy is a result of 'non-consentual sex'...without wanting to spell it out.

The only thing I can suggest is to eat right take care of yourself & dont stress too much, if you get to the stage were your just shagging on the day your ovulating & living your life by ovulation charts then it all becomes too much & you will stress about not being pregnant yet. Just enjoy the trying as its part of the experience.

I am in the same boat as you are... I am not on birth control and want to get pregnant badly... it has been 10 months without birth control and I cannot get pregnant. We have sex all the time and still nothing. And here i am again about to get my period. I don't know what to do.

It really would not bother me except I got pregnant 9 years ago and had to get rid of the baby thru abortion... now that i am ready to have a baby i cannot get pregnant!! Every night that I go to sleep i pray i can get pregnant, but I really don't think that i can have kids anymore....

me and my husband was trying for a baby for 3 years and without a shred of contraception. we had all the checkups and we were told we were perfectly fine and that we seem to be not very compatible together to concieve. but 1 month down the line after all the tests and heartache, we became pregnant, and i now have twin boys. it goes to show nothing happens when you want it to to all that are trying to concieve, good luck, dont give up, just think you could become pregnant tomorrow. xx

maybe you should consult your gp for advice. mine helped me loads. don't give up, but dont let it get you down!! try folic supplement, or mastering your periodic tabe to figure out when you most likely to concieve, normally its 14 days be fore you next period. consult your gp, because any help is good help. keep your chin up and keep at it like i did. it took me 3 years of trying every method. good luck xx

I am also trying to get pregnant for more than one year now, and have read all the books on all thr tricks, just I wanted to tell you that I already have two sons and with those I did not have to try at all. Sometimes I think that the more you worry the more your body prevents a pregnancy ( even tho I ovulate extremely regularly etc. I think it is something to do with happiness and being able to relax and enjoy sex ( as I did the first couple of times) For those worried about the consequences of abortion, I have never had one,but I do know many who have and that have fallen pregnant, just you are not going to read their posts on this site. Hope you all send us a post when you succeed to assure us that there is hope for us too. Best wishes.
