The Focus has been Britain's best selling car for the last 9 years. Its a great car. I have been in one and they're very good. And i find they have more quality and is more pleasing than the Vauxhall Astra.
But really, i'd never say the Ford Mondeo is too big either. Its bigger than the previous ones yes but its so sexy i could marry it But they would also be very practical. The 1.8 TDCi will do nigh on 50mpg and theres plenty of space in the car.
it's not that there's anything wrong with the mondeo - it's just that it seemed the odd one out in the cars mentioned and, reading between the lines, i got the impression that Cute Quo Chick really would have been happier with something a little bit smaller. i could be wrong, though. really, the only way she can tell if a particular car is right for her would be to take one for a test drive.
another thought occurred to me - what about a volkswagen golf?
im not particular keen on volkswagens i dont know why tho its just the shape of them. minigirl is right i really want a car thats just a nice size for me. I am a tall girl and want a car that im not crouching down cos im too big. a vauxhall or a ford wud be ideal. looking at Mr JACA's post i never kne subaru's are at the stage people can afford them but they're insurance costs go thru the roof and i want a car that insurance isnt too expensive. also i have noticed that audi have nice car ( the TT is just too cramped ).Cos I sat in a TT recently and the space was horrendous. also ive seen people driving ferraris and aston martins on our roads and i've also found myself sayin this alot why do people that drive those type ov cars on our roads cos the roads here in the UK arent suitable and also how can those type ov cars be affordable to people like us instead ov they people that can flash their cash.
