help-please! wrote:Hello!
What would you do if your 16yr old son told you he wanted to crossdress at home? (He's not gay by the way) He wants to wear skirts, ladies tops,
knickers and dresses. He wants to buy some clothes with me. (apparently he has a small collection)
Anyone have any experiance/helpful information with this?
Thanks
I am an only child and I knew at the age of 11 that I wanted to dress as a girl but was far too embarrassed and ashamed to tell my parents. My mum and dad divorced when I was 14 and I told my mum a few months later that I would be happier in a dress and pretty undies. She was not unnaturally taken aback but she supported my crossdressing and bought me lots of girls clothes so that I spent nearly all the time at home as a girl. I became her daughter Jessica and there is no doubt it brought us much closer together. I went out with her and on holiday dressed as a girl and soon had a sizeable wardrobe of skirts, dresses, frilly
knickers,
tights and
stockings, and lots of makeup.
If a boy wants to dress as a girl then his parents should let him because this desire is not going to disappear as he gets older. I am now 29 and still dress regularly (and still live at home with my mum who is my best friend). If anything, my desire to dress has got stronger with age.
I don’t think of myself as gay because I am attracted to girls but when I am Jessica I do enjoy the attentions of goodlooking men and I have been out on dates with guys so I guess I am bi-sexual. I have thought about sexual reassignment surgery but it is a major and irreversible step although perhaps if I met Mr Right I might take the plunge.
