I commented only on government policy, not on every individual American. Having (deliberately?) misunderstood you proceeded to snipe at me, not my argument.
Your post does, however, serve to highlight one of the reasons for the policy that successive administrations have pursued for almost a century.

Bullshit. You "commented" on individual Americans.
Here are your own words:

If you are an American you are so indoctrinated that you will never see the truth. It started with your daily recital of the Oath of Allegiance at school and it has continued ever since, in one way or another. When was the last time Americans were not living in dread of some bogey man or other?
You are not only an ignorant hypocrite, but you're also a lying piece of shit. Why am I not surprised?
I know it's not easy for you, but do try to deal with the serious issues I raised, rather than accusing me of trivial misdemeanours. How I expressed myself and whether I used broad strokes or not is of no consequence whatsoever. Other than a request for you stay on topic, I won't respond to any more posts that use such tactics.
The real issue is whether certain long-term American domestic policies have led inexorably to the election of the current incumbent. He must surely be the worst US president in history and it has taken Americans seven years of his ineptitude to realise what the rest of the world already knew, even before he first got elected. He was never capable of doing any more than preying on the self-inflicted paranoia that besets the 29% (approx) of the US electorate who voted for him. What a sad and terrible indictment of American society that is.
It has been said that a nation gets the government that it deserves. However, I find it difficult to believe that Americans deserve the appalling mess that Bush will leave them in. May their god take pity on his successor.

stfu, ignoramus, bush was re-elected with the greatest number of votes in american history. go read a book or summat.
Jesus is just the latest personification of the sun.
Like Horus:
Stories from the life of Horus had been circulating for centuries before Jesus birth (circa 4 to 7 BCE). If any copying occurred by the writers of the Egyptian or Christian religions, it was the followers of Jesus who incorporated into his biography the myths and legends of Horus, not vice-versa.
Author and theologian Tom Harpur studied the works of three authors who have written about ancient Egyptian religion: Godfrey Higgins (1771-1834), Gerald Massey (1828-1907) and Alvin Boyd Kuhn (1880-1963). Harpur incorporated some of their findings into his book "Pagan Christ." He argued that all of the essential ideas of both Judaism and Christianity came primarily from Egyptian religion. "[Author Gerald] Massey discovered nearly two hundred instances of immediate correspondence between the mythical Egyptian material and the allegedly historical Christian writings about Jesus. Horus indeed was the archetypal Pagan Christ."
And he was just one of many other figures that shared these attributes:
-Born on the 25th December
-Heralded by a star in the East
-Presence of three kings
-Of a virgin
-Was a child scholar at 12
-Entered his ministry at age 30
-Had 12 followers
-Was betrayed for money
-Was crucified
-Buried for three days
-Resurrected
Yep - there were a bunch of them before Christ. All based on pagan concepts, particularly referenced against astrology.
There were also a variety of different moses characters, before THE moses character.
I think organized religion has been used to keep us doing things by rote, under a paternalistic form of control and thereby not reaching our full potential in terms of elevating our consciousness.
I think Jesus and the Essene/Samaritan background he came from, has much in common with the Mandaeans, the Buddhists and also Hinduism. They all see fasting and meditation as a path to enlightenment.
If you look past the dictates of any one religion, you will see that all religions come from the same core of ancient beliefs and the duality of light and dark. When such beliefs become organized and rigid, demanding conformity either violently or through fear, then what you have is a perversion of their message by those who desire to control the masses.
What if he is Gods son, and what if he's seen your post. here
