| i could stand to be corrected on this, but i seem to recall hearing that the chinese consider a baby to be a year old when it's born - anyone know if this is true? |

| I do not know about that. The only link I know of between the Chinese age and conception is that the Chinese age of the mother and the conception date of the baby is used to predict the baby's gender. The Chinese age is different from the normal age because it is based on a lunar calender. |
