I know I'm going to get a few double-takes (I'm black and 6 foot 2) but I don't care. It's not like someone's gonna challenge me about it. I carry my blade so I can deal with anyone who takes things too far. I don't give a label to what I do, a skirt is clothes just like shorts or jeans. I wear jeans and shorts too as skirts. I wear a pencil skirt to work sometimes, no adverse comments.
Why don't you guys just get out there and wear a skirt? The more we see, the more it is going to become fashion.

The weather's been hot and dry round my way, too, so I've been doing exactly that! Sometimes in a denim skirt, sometimes in a rayon skirt that's lighter and more flowing; it's been hot enough for it.

I respect him already. I never dissed him in the first place. I think he's doing the right thing. His English doesn't baffle me, and I don't think he makes himself look a t***. What's baffling you? Words like "neanderthals" and "acolytes" perhaps?
I'm glad to see that some guys are out there in skirts.

SkirtCAFE is world wide. Many of us live round different parts of the world. Others travel. Sorry that I haven't said much for a while, as we have been busy round the world visiting older and younger members of our family (me in Kilt much of the time) and have also met many other kilt wearers in North Carolina (USA).
I didn't see any Sunderland football team players over there! Why would that be, Alf? What's it all about, Alfie? (an old song, before your time). Say hello, Alf, (on behalf of Cumberland News, July 2007) to your brother Wilf and Sister Betty.

I think it's great talking from the dead, son. It's a form of closure. We always love you. I can understand now why you prefer women's clothes as you were always close to your mum. I just couldn't stand your behaviour, as it embarrassed me. I'm just glad your mother and I never gave you that money to go to Thailand for your operation to become a woman.
My death wasn't your fault son, I just wanted a boy who would do normal boyish things. You're so caught up in this women's clothes thing that it broke my heart.

The whole point that we are trying to make is that people can choose what they wear. The old days when ladies were only allowed skirts and men only allowed trousers have gone. Ladies have taken the lead and now wear absolutely anything they please. Men should equally have the freedom to choose any type of clothing as legitimate mens' clothing. We are not trying to be feminine any more than ladies wearing trousers are trying to be masculine. Skirts originated as men's clothing centuries ago anyway.
I am not sure where mockers of very recenty deceased people originated, but sure know where they end up.
We only keep this thread going 4 jokes, so just chill out. There's no point fighting with normal people on this issue, it's dead and buried.
Men in skirts will never happen because
1) Women want men to be men
2) Women wear skirts to feel sexy and appeal to men
3) Skirts are too restrictive
4) Kilts cost a fortune and are fiddly, plus if youre not Scottish why bother
5) If we saw a man in a skirt, he's usually middle-aged and going thru some sort of crisis.
6) It takes a celebrity to change the world of fashion.
Whining about skirts to us won't change things. Go out and see how many people wear skirts, then count how many men are wearing them.
Get the point, there are NONE.
stick to your men-in-skirts-and-tights group, if you want to meet up with similar pervs...
