Me and my bf have decided we want to try for a baby however I am still on the pill Loestrin. My bf wants to try and plan for the baby to be born between june and sep as many of his family and mine are at the beginning of the year. However I don't think he knows how long it might take for my bod to getbk to normal (I have been on the pill just over a yr). Would it be best not to start the next packet and use condoms in till we are ready or to keep on the pill for longer? We both know we want children however I am worried wot are parents might say cos mine are always saying to wait, but we both want children young. I am 21 and he is 20. Really confused I really want to have a family and can't wait.

ive been on the pill for 4 years and i came off it 8 months ago because me and my boyfriend want a baby. i havent had a regular period since so theres not much luck of me falling pregnant anytime soon.
but on the other hand ive got a 4 year old son and i fell pregnant with him straight away after coming off my pill.
so i suppose you never can really tell.
the thing is if you and your boyfriend want a baby thats your decsion not anyone elses.
my son is the best thing thats ever happened to me and i wouldnt do anything differently

i was on the pill for just under a year, and stopped taking it because me and my partner wanted to try for a baby, that was 2 months ago. Im now 5 weeks pregnant! so it might not take as long as you think! i was so shocked as i thought it would take a lot longer, as i heard it can take upto a year for the pill to get out your system completly, think positively and good luck ! xxx keep us posted! x

Hey, I stopped taking my pill on 15th July at the end of a packet, I then had my period on the sat 19th of July which is the way my periods always fell when I was on the pill, I was on it for 5 years. I should be due for a period around August 21st, but me and my partner have had unprotected sex three times since I stopped the pill, I'm really hoping I'm pregnant, but do you think it's possible as I haven't had a 'natural' period yet? x Confused

Hi There,

I stopped my pill microgynon 22th April 2005 and had my period 25th April 2005. I looked up on the internet to see when it was best to try using Baby Hopes Website! I got info off there when to try and it worked! I had my little boy 10th January 2006! And I away to start trying again for a lil bro or sis for him! Good luck!
