| I was just wondering how important you think "really" white teeth are. And, i was wondering if you think Crest Whitening Strips Premium are any good? |

I think it's good to have the best smile you can, it makes you feel confident, and people do notice teeth.
As for Crest strips, I don't know if they are any good. But if you feel your teeth really do need whitening maybe you could see your dentist about it?
Also I use a sonic electric toothbrush and I have noticed my teeth are much whiter now.
Good luck achieving a brighter smile |

hi, me personally i think that having white teeth rally does do your confidence a great boost. when you are talking to someone the first thing they notice is your teeth.
before i signed in to femalefirst i was on ebay and coincedentally purchased crest whitening strips (5 .
i have heard really correct reviews about these and have seen the effect they have. i cant wait to get them and at £17.99 for a pack of 58 i think it is a bargain especially for the outcome of using them.
hope this helps |

| An electric toothbrush and regular flossing helps. If you feel fresh, you feel more confident. |

I think that white teeth or close to white are important for a nice smile but I don't think it's worth getting your knickers in a twist about either. As long as you do your best ie clean them at least twice a day, floss regularly, visit the dentist regularly etc then I'm sure they'll be fine... Especially if you drink a lot of wine or coffee, or if you smoke then you'll have to keep them extra clean. |

Healthy teeth are more important than "whiter" teeth...
With most teeth whitening products having a high hydrogen peroxide content it is conceivable that excessive use could be detrimental over a long term, as H2O2 is a mildly corrosive liquid..
And don't some of those 'whiter-than-white' teeth look freakish?

| I think teeth look best when they are whiteish but still have that real look about them. Unlike some brothers who were certain former child stars from days gone by!!! |
