Ms Goody went in for the routine dental work yesterday and had been expected to retain her annoying voice but within several hours it became obvious that something had gone wrong. A hospital spokesman said cases of 'Clunes Clones' are still very rare in this country, and has urged the public not to panic. "It happens in Africa quite a lot, but it's still unusual to take on the characteristics of a much-loved television personality in this country." he said, then fell over.
Ms Goody's career had suffered after her disastrous appearance in 'Celebrity Big Brother', where she famously called Terry Wogan a 'Mick'. "She is expected to make a full recovery within weeks with her intelligence soon becoming impossible to identify - just like the old days!" said her agent.
Fans of Ms Goody have held a vigil outside the wrong hospital for the last twenty-four hours to show their support. |
